AcroYoga with Jason Nemer and Radient Flow with Janet Stone at Purnati Retreat Center
INSPIRE * EMBRACE * NURTURE * TRANSFORM

Come awaken in Paradise... and start the Balinese New Year with a life-time worth of extraordinary experiences: The best of both worlds.
Join us for 5-days of Radient Flow and AcroYoga with Janet Stone and Jason Nemer.

5-day AcroYoga and Radient Flow Retreat - March 8th-12th, 2008
Each morning, Janet will guide you in a dynamic, rigorous, joyful, sweaty and deeply nurturing asana flow. She focuses on opening the heart, creating a radiant flow of energy within the body, quieting the mind and moving towards abhaya (freedom from fear). Through the beat of your own heart, discover how vigorous asana can release tension and old patterns while awakening your divine nature. Embrace life through a fluid, rhythmic, transformative retreat.

Each afternoon, Jason, founder of AcroYoga will blend the spiritual wisdom of yoga, the loving kindness of Thai massage, and the dynamic power of acrobatics. These three ancient lineages form the foundation of a unique new practice that cultivates trust, connection and playfulness. Our highest aim is to bring individuals into a state of union with themselves, with each other, and with the divine. From this place of mutual support the true self can be realized, honored and shared for the benefit of all.

Who is Jason Nemer ?
I have been blessed with countless teachers on my path. My teenage years were deeply influenced by the training techniques of Chinese, Russian and Bulgarian Acrobatic Masters. When I was 16, I traveled to China to represent the US at the Jr. World Sports Acrobatics Championships. Competing among the best acrobats in the world opened my eyes to many advanced expressions of body control and balance. In 1996, I was invited to perform in the Opening Ceremonies at the Olympic games. Yoga came to me in my last semester of university. After that first class there has been no looking back. Breath awareness and the ethical rules of yoga filled me with so much joy and hunger for this new way to experience the world. I have studied with many gifted yogis that have lead me to my teacher, Sri Dharma Mittra. His teachings have helped me to understand that your true teacher is sitting on the right side or your heart as the eternal witness. My past of developing acrobatic progressions combined with the rich lineage of yoga has been my driving force to construct the foundation of AcroYoga.

About AcroYoga
AcroYoga blends the spiritual wisdom of yoga, the loving kindness of Thai massage, and the dynamic power of Acrobatics. These three ancient lineages form the foundation of a unique new practice that cultivates trust, connection and playfulness. Acro Yoga aims to bring individuals into a state of union with themselves, with each other, and with the divine. From this place of mutual support the true self can be realized, honored and shared for the benefit of all. The philosophy and the form stem from the collaborative efforts of Acro Yoga’s co-founders, Jenny Sauer-Klein and Jason Nemer. Before he encountered yoga, Jeremy spent his childhood and young adulthood competing amidst some of the world’s best acrobats. In 1998, his career as a professional acrobat came to a close, but it was soon followed by the introduction to yoga that would serve as a path for the fusion of the two forms. Jenny was similarly introduced to yoga at a collegiate level, and began teaching a few years later while also teaching circus arts to children in an after school program. Together they have created Acro Yoga, based in San Francisco.

Your Hotel / Retreat Center: For INHALE
Bali Purnati Center for the Arts, Batuan - Bali

Bali Purnati is a highly spiritual, private and sacred location. Within their environmentally-conscious grounds are a performing arts amphitheatre, a large pavilion, a traditional temple, comfortable villas and a beautiful swimming pool overlooking rice terraces.
Meditation sites, generous and open or small and intimate can be found throughout the gardens. One of most secluded and an early morning favourite is on the edge of Purnati’s property, between Mbeng River and an ancient cave with a holy spring.
The name Purnati refers in Balinese to a peaceful or pure heart.

“Practicing yoga felt wonderful at Purnati, where the land is as sacred and ancient as the practice itself. The serenity of the nature and temples surrounding us provided a space where we could bring to life yoga's many elements including song, movement, and the sharing of ideas and experience"

Two-Story Lumbung Villas – These villas are inspired in design by traditional Balinese rice barns. Each room has it’s private stairways-entrance with wooden floor. Bathrooms are finished in beautiful terrazzo and wood. All bedrooms have air conditioning and balconies.
The Swimming Pool
In a curving perimeter design with stone deck around the pool plus adjacent the pool is a very comfortable Bale (thatched shelter/lounge area) with a white stone floor.
