Media and Relations Manager
Spending 15 years of her career as TV Producer, Senior Copywriter and Creative Director to multi-national advertising agencies, such as Grey Jakarta, Dentsu Young Rubicam, Leoburnett Jakarta, and BBDO Indonesia.
As writer, her short story regularly published at national publishing such as Kompas newspaper , Femina ,etc. With her Balinese friends she published Poem Anthology "Keranda Emas" ( Golden Coffin) . Her book "Lelaki Yang Membelah Bulan" ( A Man who slice the Moon) published in June 2011 and her short story "Rongga" ( Hole) selected as one of the best short story in 2010 Selected Short-Stories by Kompas ( the biggest newspaper in Indonesia) and published as a book in July 2011 called "Dodolidodolibret" with other 18 Top Writers in Indonesia.
She is also a Senior Teacher and Trainer Indonesian Languah at Cinta Bahasa and well-known also as Tarot Reader in Ubud.

Fed up with Denpasar City, she was determine in looking new experience of life at peaceful place, she decided Ubud is the right place to start her new life with her husband and her son. Through a new journey in Ubud, she believes that she will find philosophy of her life, enlightenment and spirituality which has become her passion and could take her to be more centered.
Born in Denpasar and graduated from Udayana University Faculty of Law, her experience as a chief on student press organization had built her mind to be systematic, details and critical, her ability had become more complete when she work on several social events. As the typical person who enjoys challenges, Wiwie joins the Balispirit Festival team as Marketing & Communication Executive Officer and ready to be part of the team who will make this event success.

Rebekah E. Moore
Director of Music Collaborations
Rebekah is a music writer, rock fanatic and lifelong yoga learner. Her multifaceted career reflects her belief that the arts, as the greatest proof of humanity, are the most powerful means to communicate tolerance and compassion. Though her college degrees dub her an ethnomusicologist, she prefers to think of her work as music activism - work that activates people's passion for making music - and peace - together.
Rebekah first came to Bali in 2005 to study Balinese gamelan music with a well-known composer in Kerambitan, Tabanan. In 2008, after completing her PhD coursework, she returned to Bali as a Fulbright scholar, in order to complete her research for a doctoral thesis on local indie rock bands. Bali has been her part-time home ever since.
Rebekah divides her time between the US and Indonesia. She teaches Hatha Yoga, writes about culture and the performing arts for various local and international popular magazines and academic journals, works within the music industry in music journalism, event organization, and band management, and supports The BaliSpirit Festival as the Director of Music Collaborations.

Dek Indra
Assistant to the Executive Producer
Kadek Indrawati or known as Dek Indra joins the Balispirit Festival Team as Assistant to the Executive Producer Meghan Pappenheim. Born and raised in Ubud for 27 years, she really loves Ubud so decided to return to Ubud after graduated from Udayana University in Denpasar. Dek Indra has married and got 2 kids, a boy and a girl.
As a Balinese woman she really enjoys Balinese dance. For that reason, when she was a young lady she wants to be a dance teacher. Unfortunately, she has to disregard her dream because the activities to work and study at the same time did not support her hobby which needs a lot of time to practice.
She hopes her kids will have the same interest and get more chances in the future so they can be a Balinese Artist.

Shervin Boloorian
International PR
A former Washington D.C. resident, Shervin served as a government relations rep, activist advisor, writer, and coalition strategist for national pro-peace, disarmament and environmental causes. He was also an analyst for the non-partisan California Congressional delegation and served on staff for an elected member of the California State Senate. Shervin's rich public service and community engagement background launched him into initiatives working with ex-U.S. presidential candidates Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, and Ted Kennedy, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Nobel Laureates Shirin Ebadi and Jodi Williams, and other leaders in the interfaith, diplomatic, and scientific communities.
Shervin is also a certified Tama-Do sound therapist, musician, poet, scholar of the healing arts, and Qi Gong practitioner. He has coordinated communications and outreach operations for leading figures in the consciousness community such as David Wolfe, Margot Anand, and Jeremiah Abrams.
Shervin's intent is to make the wisdom and gifts of mysticism accessible to a wider audience. He believes creating peace in the world starts with positive engagement and empowerment of an individual's "inner world." "Reconnecting with the "inner voice," says Shervin, "can inspire reintegration with self, with loved ones, and with community."
Shervin has studied Taoism in China, shamanic counseling in the U.S., and he maintains a blog on modern day shamanism. He is the principal writer and editor for BaliSpirit and has published various articles and reports for independent publications.

Kezia Winny Setiawarman

Kezia Winny Setiawarman was born in Jakarta and has worked for the BaliSpirit Festival since January 2010. In December 2009, Kezia graduated from the London School of Public Relations, Jakarta, where she studied Public Relations.
One of her goals in Life is to travel the world and to work at least in 5 different city before she dies. "Expert in Training" is her motto in life.
She enjoys laughing as much as making drama in life to spice things up.

Budiningsih
Festival Freak
Budiningsih, commonly known as Budi joined BaliSpirit Festival since 2009. She has been in various divisions during her time in the Festival, and last time she's the Social Network person slash Translator.
Born and raised in Jogjakarta, Budi loves reading, music, movies and manga (japanese comics). She moves back and forth between Jogja and Ubud, "Tiring but so much fun, like living in two worlds," said her with her huge smirk. Graduated from English Letters, she finds her English "usual". She loves to go around town on her old and noisy bike, visits her friends and adopts as many as she can to be her brothers or sisters. "Having a big family is so much fun, they always excites you as well as upsets you". Currently, she has 13 'brothers' and 4 'sisters' other than her core family.
She always puts her family and "family" (friends) first because "They take you as you are, they are a part of you".
Her idea on life is Live your life as if it's the last day.

Cat Wheeler
Festival Copy Writer
Cat Wheeler, a professional writer for over 20 years, has lived in Ubud since 2000. Besides her popular column in the Bali Advertiser she also writes in support of Bali-based environmental and social organizations.
Cat is a founding member of Rotary Club Bali Ubud Sunset, Slow Food Ubud and the Ubud Gardening Society.

Daphne Tse
Festival Ambassador
Daphne Tse joins the Balispirit Festival team as the Festival Ambassador and Program consultant with almost a decade of experience in the yoga world as an event producer, extensive experience in the entertainment production world and a lifetime of music experience as a singer/songwriter.
Originally from Texas, she was drawn to music from a young age and went on to study voice and music/film/tv production at the University of Texas at Austin. She helped produce the SXSW (South by Southwest) festival in Austin, Texas; worked for Virgin records in marketing and promotions; worked at NBC at the Tonight Show in production, recording studios in Los Angeles and produced multiple events in the yoga world including the Global Mala in 2007 at the LA Convention Center.
Currently, she is based in Ubud, Bali living life passionately enjoying being a part of the dynamic Balispirit Festival Team bringing master teachers from all over the world to share their gifts and talents. She is also diving into creating inspiring and soulful music to share with the world. Her new ep, Mata, was released in 2008.

Emily Kuser
Presenter Liason Manager
Emily Kuser has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teaching yoga for 7. She has studied with incredibly respected Anusara, Shadow, and Jivamukti instructors worldwide. She is currently working toward her Anusara Yoga certification.
As Programming Director of the incredible Bali Spirit Festival, an epic festival of dance, yoga and music, Emily has assisted in the management of over 400 world musicians, global yogis, respected meditation gurus, scholars and dancer from every corner of the world.
Emily has lived in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia for over 4 years while teaching yoga at Ubud's leading studios, non-profits and to Balinese children and their families throughout the island. She is also the creator of High Vibe Yoga—successful 7 day yoga immersions and High Vibe Yoga videos held in Ubud, Bali.
Prior to living in Indonesia, Emily managed prestigious California health clubs and wrote for LA Yoga magazine in Los Angeles, CA while teaching yoga along the California coast, in the deserts of Arizona as well as during her globe trotting travels.
