Flying into Bali from his world tour, Michael Franti and friends will perform a live 75min concert at the bamboo filled Estate of Linda Garland, located in Nyuh Kuning, Ubud on Saturday March 28th. Revenues from ticket sales will go to Pelangi School, Ubud’s holistic, bilingual, community school.

Worldwide recording and touring artist, Michael Franti, will bring his socially conscious lyrics, uplifting beats, dub-grooves and song to Ubud, Bali for a night of inspiration, dance and fun in this intimate and 'not-so-acoustic' setting. Joining him will be 'friends' Carly Young, bass player for Franti's band Spearhead, J Bowman, guitarist extraordinaire, to make for a great set of soulful dance music for a great cause.

Franti comes to Ubud following sold out dates in the USA and the Bay Area in California where he is based and just prior to performing for thousands at the Bluesfest in Byron Bay, Australia. Through his music, film, yoga and humanitarian projects he continues to be global artist for change and not to be missed.

The venue, Linda Garland's Estate, is situated on 10 hectares of lush vegetation, along a gorge where a flowing river runs and waterfalls emerge. It is here that tropical birds visit, perch, and sing their songs and where all manmade structures speak to the balance between human habitation and natural integrity.  The estate is secluded in the village of Nyuh Kuning, just behind Ubud’s Monkey Forest. This breathtaking property is the essence of serenity and perfect for an intimate concert.

This event is being produced by the Balispirit Festival, thanks to a generous donation made by the owner of an eco-friendly building company based in Canada: Terra View.

This event is not to be missed. 

Location: Linda Garland Estate, behind the soccer field/Monkey Forest in Nyuh Kuning, Ubud. Parking Available.  Food and Drink will be available for purchase.   Although this event is for adults, children are welcome.
