Sydel is a Senior Yoga Teacher and has completed a Professional Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Training (MBSR) with Jon Kabat-Zinn the leader of the worldwide Mindful Movement.

Mindful Yoga and Meditation classes are an integration of basic Hatha and restorative yoga poses along with Buddhist witnessing of the body, the breath and the mind.

Sydel is also a Mental Health Educator and Master Mental Health First Aid Trainer, Sydel also works as a Trauma Body Therapist with Refugees that have undergone severe trauma and torture. She also works with victims of assault.

Worldwide, mindfulness is being taught in hospitals, schools, prisons, corporations, parenting centers and sports training programs.

The art of mindfulness is the returning of our attention again and again to whatever is there for us in the present moment, non-judgmentally. It is a way of directly experiencing our body, the rhythms of our breath and our inner sense of being-ness. A way of witnessing our thoughts and feelings and the spaces in between. By listening and attuning in this way we can re-establish a whole new relationship with our self and bring a sense of unity to our body and mind. We can find a way of being at peace, of discovering a renewed sense of compassion and empathy towards our self, and others.
