Presenter Bio: 

 

Satya has been working in Holistic Health practice as a therapist and teacher for over 20 years in the US, in Europe, and in Bali.

He is a certified rebirther (Leonard Orr, California), Holistic Health practitioner (Heartwood College, California) and Psychosomatic therapist in his own practice, and is a trainer for international schools and workshops. He has been studying Watsu and Aquabalancing at Harbin Hot Springs, California and in Switzerland. Satya is a long time resident of Bali and a consultant to the Spa and Wellness industry. He is fluent in English, German and Indonesian.

WATSU or" Aqua Balancing" takes you in a deep relaxation state. To the ancient roots of life on earth: in the water.  It begins with a soothing massage, on a mat next to the pool, and showing you the movements and stretches that will be done in water. Then you are being gently held and rocked on the surface of the water, gradually developing into a quiet, wave-like, spiralling and soft-rolling dance.

Breathing:  learn to recognize the difference between a tense holding of the breath and healthy, conscious breathing patterns: here you will see how you can develop a soft and relaxed breathing rhythm.

The workshop:

Starting off as a group (at the pool) with instructions and demonstratio, split up in pairs to do a gentle massage on a mat, then in pairs in the pool with one partner holding the other partner on the surface of the water. After 15 minutes -another session on your mat, covered by your towel. A final stage as a group to share.
