FAQs

Do you have children’s passes?

Yes! We are very child-friendly and have a special Kids Zone equipped with drawing books, coloring pencils, organic and ecofriendly materials. The Kids Zone access includes babysitting for children of all ages and is where the kids program takes place. Your children will require a Kids Pass to enter the Kids Zone. Kids Passes cost 100,000 IDR per day (less than 10 USD) or 400,000 IDR for five days (less than 35 USD) and can be purchased at the gate of the daytime venue Purnati. Entrance to Kids Zone and Dharma Fair for an Indonesian or Balinese babysitter is included in the Kids Pass. You are also welcome to bring your children to Dharma Fair at no charge, however, this access does not include babysitting and your children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Are there group rates?

Yes, we offer special group rates for a minimum of 10 people. If you would like to purchase tickets for a group, our sales office will assist you at sales@balispiritfestival.com

Do you have special rates for Indonesian nationals or expats?

Yes, we offer discounted rates for Indonesian nationals as well as KITAS, KIPEM, KTP Bali and Social Budaya visa holders. You can purchase a discounted pass only in person, after showing your document. The list of locations where you can purchase a discounted pass will be announced in February, 2016 on the Facebook event and our email newsletter (so sign up now to get notified).

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges on tickets. However, if you cannot make it to the festival you can transfer your ticket to another person. Please inform sales@balispiritfestival.com at least 2 weeks before the start of the festival.

Should I bring my own yoga mat?

Yes. Yoga mats and props are NOT provided at the individual workshops and sessions. However, you will be able to purchase a yoga mat at the festival venue or at the many yoga shops throughout Ubud.

How do I get to the festival venues?

Read here about the festival shuttle service between Ubud and the daytime and nighttime festival venues. You will need either a VIP pass (fest shuttle is included) or a shuttle pass in order to use the shuttle! If you are using your own transport, you can find directions to getting to Purnati (daytime venue) and ARMA (nighttime venue). Please not that ARMA has limited parking space.

When will the schedule be released?

Please note: all acts and schedules are subject to change without notice! The complete schedule will be released on March 1, 2016. However, you can see the line-up of teachers, presenters and musicians on our website any time. To keep up with updates on newly confirmed teachers and music acts, we recommend you join the Facebook event or opt-in for our bi-weekly email newsletter.

What should I pack for the festival?

In general, please pack light and avoid bringing items which are likely to end up in a landfill on Bali. Specifically, you will need light and comfortable clothing for workshops, a reusable water bottle (we only offer refill stations so you must have your own bottle) and yoga mat. There will also be yoga mats on sale at the festival location as well as in the many yoga shops around Ubud. In addition, it would be useful to bring an unlocked phone so that you can buy a local SIM card for cheap calls, texts and mobile data. A card with sufficient credit for a week costs about 100,000 IDR which is just under 10 USD. You may also wish to bring a small towel for daytime workshops as it can get quite warm during the day ;) Finally, check here if you are going to need an adapter for your devices.

What about accommodation and food?

Festival passes do not include food and accommodation. However, we have several accommodation partners and offer great Accommodation + Pass packages. You can find more info on these special packages and our accommodation partners here.

If you are looking for cheaper accommodation, you can take a look at this list of options as well.

Finally, there is a daytime and a nighttime market at the festival locations. They offer a variety of flavors and food choices, including raw, vegan and vegetarian options, using a majority of local and organic ingredients.
