About Batik Boy

Born and raised in Indonesia, BATIK BOY spent his teenage years in The Netherlands. There, he immersed himself in the diverse and thriving music scene, inspiring him to explore the limitless possibilities of music.

Since 2016 he has been back in his home country of Indonesia, living on the island of Bali, where he decided to establish Batik Boy Radio, a unique platform
that serves as a reflection of his broad musical palette.

He sees music as a universal language that transcends borders and brings people together, where his music selections are a testament to his global perspective, where he blends Afrobeats, Amapiano, 3step, Baile Funk, Latin Rhythms, and more – music sets with soul.

With his infectious energy and passion for music, BATIK BOY continues to discover emerging artists, explore new sounds and push the boundaries of musical expression.

Whether he’s spinning tunes at live events, sharing mixes on his radio platform, or collaborating with fellow musicians, BATIK BOY’s unwavering dedication to the art form resonates deeply with his audience and leaves a memorable mark on the music scene.
