Dhwani Dinakara Bahar

Dhwani has been dancing and teaching Cuban Salsa, and other Cuban Dances such as Son, Rumba, Orishas, Palo and many more for over 20 years – all of which she learnt from Cuban Dance Masters around the world, such as Damaris Morales, Yoannis Tamayo, Diana Rodriguez, Adonis Santiago, and Alberto Valdez. In 2013, she established an organization called Cuban Salsa Indonesia.

At the same time, she dug deep into the roots, history and elements of Cuban Culture, and expanded her knowledge and teaching experiences in Dominican Bachata, Samba, and Reggaeton.

For the past 5 years, she has invested in focusing on Brazilian Zouk; learning from many Zouk masters. She has developed the fundamental connection, grounding, and body awareness, both solo or with a partner, as required in the dance, and established the Brazilian Zouk Bali Community in 2021.

Dhwani organizes festivals for Latin dances in Indonesia annually, inviting international dance artists, and has been teaching at International Festivals in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Holland.
