About Diego Coppinger

Diego Coppinger is a Cuban musician (Havana, 1995) based in Barcelona since 2017, with a solid academic background from the National School of Music of Cuba and ESMUC. A guitarist, bassist, composer, and arranger, he stands out for his versatility in genres such as Cuban popular music, jazz, soul, R&B, and Latin jazz. He has been part of numerous top-level groups and projects and has collaborated with renowned artists on the international scene. At the same time, he carries out an active teaching career in guitar, bass, composition, and arrangements.

The Afrocuban Collective

Featuring the other world class artists Kumar Sublevao-Beat, Yadira Ferrer, Alan Sousa & Diego Coppinger, the Afrocuban Collective will be performing a repertoire of original songs and Afro-Cuban classics with a modern, Afro-jazz, and tribal style.
