Free La Vie is a boundary-defying collective of soulful musicians brought together by a shared devotion to expression, rhythm, and feeling. Rooted in what can best be described as Afro Classical, their sound weaves together orchestral textures, ancestral grooves, and contemporary soul into something both timeless and deeply present. Led by violinist and sonic storyteller Lee England Jr., the collective moves as one living organism, fluid, intuitive, and alive in the moment. Featuring a core of Indonesian musicians alongside a rotating cast of local and international artists, Free La Vie embodies a global conversation grounded in local spirit. Each performance is an offering that is soulful, sexy, and sacred, unfiltered, expansive, and unbound by genre.

About Lee England Jr.

Lee England Jr., now embracing the name “Free”, is a classically trained violinist, singer-songwriter, producer, author, and breathwork facilitator. Known for blending classical mastery with contemporary soul, R&B, and hip-hop influences, he has captivated audiences worldwide, earning recognition from industry legends like Quincy Jones and Michael Jordan.

Now based in Bali, he is creating transformative musical experiences, using his artistry to heal and inspire. As he prepares to release his new album in March, he continues to push the boundaries of live improvisation, high-quality production, and genre fusion.

Beyond music, he is also stepping into the literary world, sharing his wisdom and artistry through writing. Deeply committed to holistic healing, he integrates breathwork into his creative practice, exploring the profound connection between sound, vibration, and human consciousness.
