Bali/ Indonesia
KANCIL – ( means Mouse Deer in Indonesian ) is the favorite trickster of Indonesia. It is an animal about the size of a cat, living in the jungles. It has the legs and the tail of a deer, and the face and the body of a mouse. The mouse deer eats only plants, but lots of animals eat the mouse deer. To stay alive, it must be creative, quick and smart.
KANCIL COLLECTIVE – means a small, still creative, quick and smart artist community, motivated to bring creativity to everyone’s life:
– by facilitating and hosting art and craft workshops – by connecting to art-lovers, artists to collaborate and learn something new from each other – by donating free art activities for local people…all over around Bali
WHAT DO WE DO?
We offer a variety of craft, art and recycling activities for kids guided by fun teachers. We are a group of Art Nannies, educating kids in a creative way how to reuse “trash” and express themselves.
