About Muhammad Nur Jabir

Muhammad Nur Jabir is an Indonesian writer and thinker known for his works on Islamic mysticism (Sufism), particularly the concept of wahdat al-wujud (the Unity of Being).

He is best known as the author of the book “Samudra Wahdatul Wujud” (“The Ocean of the Unity of Being”) and Director of Rumi Institute Indonesia, which explores the metaphysical and spiritual dimensions of wahdat al-wujud, drawing on the thoughts of classical Sufi philosophers such as Ibn ‘Arabi and Mulla Sadra.

Main Focus of His Work:

– Sufism and Islamic metaphysics.
– Wahdat al-wujud, a Sufi doctrine that emphasizes the fundamental unity of all existence with the Divine.
– Philosophical and spiritual reflections on the relationship between God, creation, and human consciousness.
