Orasare

Established in 2021, Orasare is started as a passion project initiated by a group of individuals with various styles and disciplines: Wisnu and Savio with jazz background, while Hario and Gethzamani with upbeat soul and world music. This fusion successfully resulted, despite the differences, a common ground with its own signature groove.

As part of their mission to promote Indonesian culture and its diversity, Orasare’s compositions are inspired mostly by Indonesian folk songs, and they combine modern instruments with traditional Indonesian instruments (such as Gamelan, Suling, Sasando and Kenong).

From ethnic style, progressive jazz, to experimental music, Orasare aims to produce a “melting pot” of different musical interpretations, resulting in a unique sense of identity.
