A live ceremonial dance and sound healing journey featuring rhythms of an awakened tribe, channeled vocals, live guitar, violin, and flutes, and some uncontrollable shouts of pure joy along the way. The confluence of their energies creates a truly ecstatic dance and sound healing journey that transcends genre norms. Raio will be playing a hybrid DJ-live set at the festival along with his soul brother Holloway on vocals. The confluence of their energies creates a truly ecstatic dance experience, with Holloway’s transcendent vocals soaring above Raio’s tribal rhythms.

Raio

Raio is a musician, producer, ceremonialist, and DJ who’s been uplifting the tribe in Bali for the last 18 years. A devotee of movement and dance as transformational practices, he plays organic-electro live dance music sets and DJ’s ecstatic dance. He also leads sacred cacao ceremonies, medicine music concerts, and sound healing journeys, and produces music in a riverside jungle studio outside Ubud.

Along with his wife Sophie Sofree, he’s the co-founder of Wakamaia School of Sacred Fun, where they share the art of Ecstatic Dance DJ’ing, sound healing, and more. Dedicated to presenting earth-reverent projects that heal and unite, Raio is also co-founder of an eco-community as well as Colibri Spirit Festival and BaliSpirit Festival.

Holloway

Benny Holloway is a soulful soundophile and self-taught artist based out of the coastal Australian town, Byron Bay. His genuine, warm personality alongside his stirring and evocative music make him one of the most unique and intriguing musicians in the industry today. Benny’s ethereal soundscapes are created through looping and weaving his voice with guitar create atmospheric ambient sound baths encouraging a deeper state of connection. His musical offerings are like sonic acupuncture, penetrating the deepest layers of body and mind and inviting the listener on an introspective journey to the heart. As a solo artist, Benny’s honest and open-hearted songwriting is spellbinding. His honey voice paired with nostalgic lyrics are an ode to the human condition and the boundless quest for love and life fulfillment.
